Five months have already passed since I took office as President. These have been five intensive and instructive months in which I have been actively supported by several people.
At the meetings with the sponsors and several partner organizations, a very good and valuable exchange took place, which forms a good basis for further cooperation.
Many thanks at this point to all those who actively and financially support our Swiss chapter. A strong national chapter can achieve a great deal, not only domestically but also internationally. This is demonstrated not least by the 2000-Watt Society project, which will be presented to participants at the forthcoming anniversary World Congress in Paris. I invite you to register for this unique event, which will take place from June 7-10, 2022, and to join the Board members in putting together a strong Swiss delegation.
I also look forward to welcoming you to the FIABCI-Suisse General Assembly on May 20 in Bern and send you my best FIABCI greetings in the meantime.

Review of the FIABCI-SUISSE LUNCH
The 10th FIABCI Lunch took place on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Greencity in Zurich. The participants had the pleasure of attending two very interesting presentations on the following topics: "2000-Watt: Stopover on the way to NetZero ", presented by Mr. Andreas Binkert, and "Circular economy in construction", presented by Mr. Roland Bärtschi. Following these presentations, the participants had the privilege of visiting two key Greencity sites: the heating center and a housing cooperative where residents are fully committed to life in the neighborhood. 72nd World Real Estate Congress, in Paris
The 72nd World Congress will take place from June 7 to 10, 2022 at the Hippodrome Paris-Longchamp in Paris. The program of this event is very interesting. Several members of FIABCI-SUISSE have already registered and the Board of FIABCI-SUISSE encourages all other members to participate as well.
Passing of Mrs. Danielle Grossenbacher
Ms. Danielle Grossenbacher, former Global President of FIABCI, passed away on January 25, 2022. Driven by an unwavering positivism and optimism, she championed the cause of affordable housing. In her role as FIABCI's lead representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Council and in her role as a FIABCI member of the European Commission, her priority was to advance the cause of affordable housing. We remember her as a warm-hearted person who had her roots in Switzerland through her marriage.
