Welcome by the President

Dear members of FIABCI-SUISSE
Dear partner

The activities of our association continue to bring together the numerous professions and experts in the real estate industry. The exchange of experience and constructive dialog within this community help us to further develop our profession and master future challenges.  
 
After the RENT SWISS trade fair in Lausanne and the unmissable international real estate fair MIPIM in Cannes in March, we met in Zurich Oerlikon in April for the Case Story 2024 with a visit to the Quartiers 2000 Watts, Hunziker Areal and Glatt Park. 
 
At the end of May, a ten-strong Swiss delegation traveled to Singapore for the 74th FIABCI World Congress.
 
We will meet again soon at our next General Assembly, which will take place on June 21 at the Bernisches Historisches Museum in Bern, which is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year.
 
The board is looking for new board members, so do not hesitate to contact us and contribute more to the development of the Swiss chapter. Registration is open and your applications are welcome.

CASE STORY - April 26, 2024 in Zurich

74th FIABCI World Real Estate Congress in Singapore
 
 Currently, from May 27 to 31, 2024, FIABCI-Singapore has the honor of hosting the 74th FIABCI World Real Estate Congress. A Swiss delegation of more than 10 people will be attending the event and will participate in the FIABCI World Excellence Award ceremony and gala dinner during the Congress.

The theme of the World Congress is "Real Estate in the New Environment". Like many other countries, Singapore has largely focused on regeneration and building new global and commercial connections as the world passes us by. Key issues: THE IMPACT ON THE ECONOMY, THE NEW MARKETING LANDSCAPE IN DEVELOPMENT and THE CHALLENGES OF THE PROFESSIONAL REAL ESTATE ECONOMY.

The General Assembly of FIABCI-SUISSE in Berne

On Friday, June 21, we will meet at the Bernisches Historisches Museum (BHM). Mr. Thomas Pauli-Gabi, the director of this museum, will introduce us to the project of the complete renovation of the Bernisches Historisches Museum. The BHM is one of the most important museums in Switzerland dedicated to history. Its collection is a cultural memory of the history of Bern and the world. The institution was founded in 1889 by the Canton, the City and the Burgergemeinde of Bern. In the course of its 130-year history, the BHM building has been rebuilt and extended several times, but has never been completely renovated. The requested credit of CHF 7.5 million for the study phase of this project will be shared equally by the three sponsors of the foundation. We look forward to welcoming many of you to this event.

Léo Richard, Régie IMRO - Immobilière Romande SA
 
Léo Richard joined the real estate management company IMRO - Immobilière Romande SA in 2020 as Director of Sales and Promotion. He has held the position of Co-General Director since January 2024.
He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a federal certificate as an expert in real estate valuation.
