FIABCI annual kick-off in Neuchâtel with the World President
Around 60 FIABCI members and guests came together at the "Hotel Beau Rivage" on Lake Neuchâtel to network and exchange information at the start of the new year. The event also provided an opportunity to get to know the current FIABCI World President Walid Moussa.
Marc-André Nardin, President of the Grand Council of Neuchâtel, opened the FIABCI SUISSE 2020 kick-off event with a welcome address to the association presidents, representatives and members in attendance. He expressed his fascination with the history and objectives of the international umbrella organization for the real estate professions, FIABCI, as well as the activities of the Swiss chapter. He also expressed his enthusiasm for the 2019 case study in the new Zurich Insurance building in Zurich, the "Quai Zurich". "With this project, you have shown that not only can the goals of a 2000-watt society demanded by the city of Zurich be achieved, but that future operations can also comply with the Minergie P-Eco and Minergie Eco standards." This result is all the more remarkable as it concerns the renovation of existing buildings and their extension. According to Nardin, the canton of Neuchâtel is also about to launch a program to renovate its administrative and financial real estate heritage.
