FIABCI-SUISSE Unveils New Board of Directors and "Road Map 28"

A premier business club for an industry in transition

The General Assembly of FIABCI Suisse was held in Bern on May 29, 2026.

The Swiss real estate industry is changing faster than ever before. Sustainability goals are becoming more ambitious. PropTech and artificial intelligence are rewriting the rules of the game. And no single professional can navigate this transformation alone.

That is why FIABCI-SUISSE, the Swiss chapter of the International Real Estate Federation, has decided to evolve. After 75 years of fostering collaboration among more than 40 real estate professions, we are becoming something even more ambitious: a high-caliber business club.

During our 75th Annual General Meeting at the Bern Expo Centre, we introduced a new leadership team and presented our strategic vision for the future: the “Road Map 28.”

A long-standing tradition of sharing best practices

For decades, FIABCI-SUISSE has been the place where Swiss real estate professionals share knowledge, build trust, and learn from one another. This tradition is our foundation. But today, simply exchanging best practices is no longer enough. We must make a real impact—locally, nationally, and globally.

“Road Map 28” was developed precisely for this purpose. By bringing together our local community of over 40 professional groups, we will leverage transnational networks and proven best practices to actively shape the future of the industry.

New Leadership for a New Era

To lead this transformation, the General Assembly re-elected Vitali Bekker as President and elected Daniel Stoller as the new Vice President. Together with a new Executive Board, they will bring complementary expertise to bear across the entire value chain of the real estate industry.

Introducing our newly elected board members

Markus Streckeisen

Markus Streckeisen will assume the role of treasurer and active board member. As an entrepreneur with an Executive MBA in Real Estate and Mobility, Markus spent nearly three decades at SBB, the Swiss Federal Railways. There, he served in various roles, including Director of Transformation, Director of Sales, and Deputy CEO of SBB Cargo AG. He knows how to manage large-scale change processes and will ensure the financial health of our association.

Veronika Harder

Veronika Harder brings over 30 years of experience as an architect, founder, and CEO of HHP AG. She is an entrepreneur dedicated to sustainable and forward-thinking design who bridges the gap between architectural innovation and economic reality.

Cédric Miehle

Cédric Miehle will serve as an active board member and legal advisor to the chapter. Cédric holds a Master of Laws degree and is a certified SAV specialist attorney in construction and real estate law. He is a partner at Domenig & Partner Rechtsanwälte AG, which has offices in three major Swiss cities. He brings the legal expertise our members need in an increasingly regulated environment.

Tristan Schweden

Tristan Schweden is taking over as head of Young Members. He works in project development and real estate management in both the Swiss and German markets. His focus is on sustainable renovations, solar power systems, and operational management. He is responsible for attracting the next generation and bringing fresh ideas to the board.

A heartfelt thank you as we say goodbye

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Pete Dwojak, our former Vice President and former Board member, for his valuable contributions during his tenure.

The power of combined expertise

Together, the President, Vice President, and new Board members represent well over a century of combined Swiss real estate experience. This is precisely the network you gain access to when you join FIABCI-SUISSE.

In support of “Road Map 28,” the Board recommends adjusting the regular membership dues to CHF 600 per year, effective January 1, 2027.

Join our growing community

FIABCI-SUISSE is more than just an association. We are a community built on a long-standing tradition of sharing best practices in Switzerland and around the world. We bring together over 40 real estate specialties to make a real difference in the industry.
