At the international level, the program remains diverse, but one important piece of information deserves special attention.
The World Charter for Real Estate Professionals was officially launched at the General Assembly of the 73rd FIABCI World Real Estate Congress in Miami on June 9, 2023. Entitled "Building Better Lives", this charter was developed in collaboration with global partners, including UN-Habitat, our Swiss representatives from 2000WSCA and researchers from the ETI - IAE Paris Chair, Panthéon Sorbonne Business School. The main objective is to raise awareness among real estate professionals of sustainable and responsible real estate practices as defined by the core values and principles detailed in the Charter. More specifically, the four core values of this charter are: Inclusion and Equality, Governance and Security, Resilience and Capacity Building, and Sustainability and Circularity.
The Global Charter for Real Estate Professionals is further evidence of FIABCI's unwavering commitment to promoting sustainable development, preserving cultural and historical heritage and forging a collective response to today's pressing challenges, including protecting the environment and curbing global warming.

KICK-OFF 2024 - January 10, 2024
FIABCI-SUISSE kicks off 2024 with its traditional kick-off, which will take place on Wednesday, 10 January 2024, at 10.00 a.m. at the Hotel Beau-Rivage in Neuchâtel.
This event will once again offer you the opportunity to keep up to date with the latest developments, as Dr. Stefan Fahrländer, Fahrländer Partner Raumentwicklung (FPRE), from Zurich, will speak about the status and prospects of the 2024 real estate market in Switzerland. Some news from FIABCI-SUISSE will be shared with you at this time by a surprise guest. Participants will each receive a free copy of the "Swiss Real Estate Almanac 2024" (normal price CHF 150) as an e-book or by post on request.
Appointment of members of FIABCI-SUISSE at international level
FIABCI-SUISSE is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Thomas Henle as Chairman of the Exchange Committee of FIABCI International. We wish him every success in this role.
We wish the World Council of Proptech, chaired by Mr. Rafat Chabaane, every success.
Mr. Michele Giambonini continues to represent us as Secretary of the Legislation & Environment Committee.
UN event visits
FIABCI World President Budiarsa Sastrawinata has already made several official visits, each aimed at promoting cooperation and advancing sustainable development. He also addressed the audience at the Real Estate in Action - Achieving SDG11: Sustainable Cities and Communities event, FIABCI and UN-Habitat'sparallel event atthe United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. The Real Estate in Action event also marked the launch of the Global Charter for Real Estate Professionals - Building Better Lives - a joint effort by FIABCI and its partners UN-Habitat, the 2000-Watt Smart Cities Association and the ETI - IAE Paris Sorbonne School to raise awareness of sustainable and responsible real estate practices among real estate professionals.

Any private or institutional owner or financial institution can analyze the sustainability of their properties with REMMS and receive a comprehensive report. In addition, portfolio-relevant strategic statements are recorded and evaluated in a questionnaire. Together with the analyses of the individual properties, these are incorporated into the portfolio report, which takes into account the various standards such as AMAS, ASB, ASIP, CREEM, CSRD, GRI, ICMA, KGAST, PCAF, SFDR, TCFD. Nicole Kirch, Head of the SVIT Central Switzerland office
Nicole Kirch has held a federal certificate as a trainer since 2022. She has also completed training in digital marketing and event and sponsorship management. She has been head of the SVIT Central Switzerland office in Lucerne since 2021. Among other activities, she is a member of "Women for the board".
Sascha Bockstaller, Project Manager "Realization", MOBIMO MANAGEMENT AG
Sascha Bockstaller is of German origin. He initially studied architecture and obtained a Master of Arts in Architecture at the University of Koblenz. He then supplemented this education with a MAS Real Estate Management CUREM at the University of Zurich. He is currently a project manager at MOBIMO MANAGEMENT AG.
