This year's FIABCI International Working Days took place in Athens from December 6 to 10, 2017. For the first time, "iReal" (a Young Member Event) and a "European Business Summit" were combined with the FIABCI Working Days. Switzerland, as a very large national chapter, was unfortunately only represented by 5 participants this year (including 3 Young Members!).
This made the presentation by Michele Giambonini of the recently formed "FIABCI Suisse - SVIT" exchange committee in Switzerland all the more important. The ensuing discussion led to new and concrete concepts, which will be further developed before the World Congress in Dubai.
Thomas Henle, who is also a member of the Financial Committee, acted as a neutral vote counter at the General Meeting. Participants were also able to find out about upcoming international activities (World Congress 2018 in Dubai, Young Member World Congress 4/5.10.2018 in Catagena-Colombia, 70th World Congress 2019 in Moscow, etc.). Of course, we also visited the Acropolis and its museum and enjoyed a "Greek Evening" in between. In addition to the opportunity that always arises to cultivate the international network of colleagues, the usual gala evening was also held to thank the organizers, etc. A well-organized FIABCI conference was over so quickly!
