FIABCI has successfully concluded its participation in MIPIM 2025, a unique week-long city festival in Cannes. Over four days, FIABCI facilitated high-level discussions, forged strategic partnerships, and offered exclusive networking opportunities. The event provided an exclusive platform to drive innovation and collaboration within the industry.

FIABCI Gala Dinner: Kick-off for MIPIM

The traditional FIABCI Gala Dinner took place at the renowned Hotel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes, kicking off the most important event organized by our global partner RX France. The sold-out soirée brought together high-profile guests from around the world for an evening of exquisite cuisine, live entertainment, and valuable networking opportunities.

Special thanks go to COFECI-CRECI and its president João Teodoro da Silva for leading the largest delegation at this event. We would also like to thank our chapters from Belgium, France, Indonesia, Nigeria, and the USA for their strong presence.

FIABCI Pavilion at MIPIM: A central meeting place for global real estate experts
The FIABCI Pavilion at MIPIM 2025 served as a central meeting place for members, partners, and industry leaders. With over 115 FIABCI members from more than 30 countries, the pavilion provided a space for important discussions, knowledge exchange, and business development.

Conference program: Designing sustainable cities and communities
The FIABCI conference sessions featured more than 20 renowned speakers on the topic of "Designing sustainable cities and communities."

An outstanding panel discussion on the topic of "Urban Development – New Business Models for the Future" highlighted the changing economy of urban neighborhoods and large-scale corporate projects. Experts emphasized the importance of solid business plans, strategic asset management, and community-oriented developments with integrated key amenities.

FIABCI also hosted the session "Real Estate & Sports Facilities – A Key Driver for Urban Regeneration & Investment through PPP," which highlighted how multifunctional sports facilities transform urban landscapes by promoting economic growth and social engagement.

FIABCI-Ukraine: Focus on innovations in sustainable urban development
FIABCI-Ukraine led two insightful sessions that highlighted the importance of sustainable reconstruction and forward-looking construction solutions.

"Rebuilding Ukrainian Cities Green" outlined strategies for international investors, project developers, and technology leaders to drive effective urban transformations while creating long-term value. Key topics included:
Circular economy and bio-based materials for sustainable construction
Public-private partnerships and investment opportunities in urban renewal in Ukraine
Common Ground in Sewerjnyniwka (Vinnytsia region) – an innovative cultural and educational center for displaced families, built with bio-based, energy-efficient materials
Scalable solutions for real estate, infrastructure, and smart cities to strengthen resilience
Presentation of the catalog of social investment projects and investment opportunities
A second session focused on groundbreaking solutions that are revolutionizing the construction industry.

In focus: The new master plan for Tashkent
In front of the FIABCI pavilion, the deputy mayor of Tashkent, Sharof Rakhmanov, presented the visionary master plan for the new Tashkent, developed by the London-based company CrossWorks. This ambitious project covers 25,000 hectares and aims to almost double the size of the capital, create housing for 2.5 million inhabitants, and consolidate Tashkent's status as the largest metropolis in Central Asia.

Strategic partnerships and collaborations
During MIPIM 2025, FIABCI strengthened key partnerships, held bilateral talks with its global partner UN-Habitat, and launched a new collaboration with RICS to promote sustainable urban development initiatives.
